DIVE BAZARUTO
Scuba Diving
in Vilanculos, Inhambane,
Mozambique, Africa
Situated in the ample park-like gardens of Archipelago Resort on South Beach
in Vilankulo, Dive Bazaruto is a PADI Resort centre that offers the scuba diver
and snorkeller (and even beachcomber!) great opportunities to visit the Bazaruto
Archipelago off the coast of Mozambique. Lying only 13 to 15kms offshore these
fabulous reefs are home to a huge variety of fish, corals, anemones, nudibrancs,
dolphins, rays, small shark and even the great whale shark.
Kyle and Nicole, joint owners and PADI Dive Instructors, together with their
team offer a number of courses, from a brief Discover Scuba course in the
swimming pool, to Resort Courses, Open Water, Advanced, Rescue and even Dive
Master courses. Our equipment is modern and to a high standard, equipped with
First Aid and Emergency canisters as well as an oxygen cylinder for all
departures. Safety is the prime concern and will not be compromised. Our boats
are available for charter as well as regular dive departures, island visits and
fishing. There is a deep water channel running right by the Dive Centre so we
are never hampered by the change of tide.
Clients can tailor-make their own package including hotel accommodation,
airport transfers, shopping tours and visits to the various dive sites for two
tank dives with a finger lunch. Snorkellers are welcome to join the excursions
as parts of the reef are shallow enough to be enjoyed from the surface. And even
for the non-swimmer there are lovely beaches to explore, sand dunes to climb,
and a shade cloth tent to escape the midday sun while the others are out diving.
We also offer beach sports such as wind surfing, canoeing, Optimist sailing,
tubing and water skiing. Visitors can enjoy a ride with the nearby riding school
getting to know the surrounding countryside and tranquil beaches.
Come visit us and find out for yourself why Mozambique is becoming a more and
more popular destination with its gentle friendly people, interesting culture,
sunshine, white beaches and blue seas. Make this holiday a special one.
