Dinokeng Waterfront Estate Roodeplaatdam Fishing venue is situated on the
South Eastern side of the Roodeplaat dam where the Edenvale river flows into the
dam (directly apposite Leeuw Fontein Estates and Sable Hills water front Estate)
which is a 15 minute drive from Pretoria.
Please keep in mind we are out on the Kameelfontein road and NOT the Kameeldrift
road)
We offer Camping, Picnics, Fishing, Canoeing, Bird Watching, Mountain biking
(bring your own), Game Viewing (We border the Roodeplaat Nature reserve to our
North), Horse Riding (SQ)
We have been visited by National Geographic for filming of certain fresh water
species.
The Magazine Stywe Lyne / Tight Lines have reviewed our Fishing area in 2010 and
2012.
Most of our visitors are very serious fisherman, that enjoy a drink or two - but
appreciate Nature and respect one another and keep noise levels down.
We are 10Km from the Zambesi and N1 off ramp
Carp has been caught here of up to 17KG, 'Swartbaars' of 3.9Kg, Kurpers and a
variety of other fresh water fish.
Theo, our manager , has been catching fish here for over 41 years - and you are
welcome to engage with him in regards to fishing, nature and possibly even the
meaning of life...
We are not a party venue.
