Our holiday townhouse,
Margate, on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. The
Uvongo bathing beach is a mere 300m walk. The beach is a family beach where everyone can sunbath and relax under the watchful eyes of the life-guards. There is also a lagoon, wonderful for young children to swim in and where the whole family can enjoy boat rides whilst viewing the dassies on the rocks, ducks basking in the sun and a wonderful waterfall.
All amenities, including supermarket, restaurants, coffee shop, video outlet, bottle store, pub/pizzeria, post office, pharmacy, etc. are all within walking distance.
About the Townhouse:
6-sleeper Unit
The townhouse can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults with additional space for 2 children. The unit is a no-smoking unit indoors, with a smoking area in our outdoor braai area.
The Townhouse
Arrive and park your car at the townhouse and you need not cross the main road to go to the beach. It has something for each member of the family, from a fully fitted kitchen for mom with a dishwasher to take the load off washing dishes during the holiday, a DStv decoder (which only needs your card) for the kids to watch cartoons or movies on a rainy day, to a wonderful outdoor area for dad to start the fire for those well known South African "braais". It is situated in a secure, small complex with only 8 units. The complex also has a sparkling pool to cool off in.

- Kitchen: Fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee perculator, dishwasher, under counter over and hob. Cutlery, crockery, glasses, plastic-ware for the kids and kitchen utensils catering for 6 people.
- Lounge: Lounge suite, with two additional ottomans, DStv Decoder (bring your own Smart Card), CD/Radio Player.
- Dining Room/Bar Area: 6 seater dining room suite, bar counter with bar stools.
- Main Bedroom: (Downstairs) Double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower. Lots of cupboard space, with a safe for valuables. Ceiling fan for those hot summer evenings.
- Second Bedroom: (Downstairs) Two single beds with lots of cupboard space. Ceiling fan for those hot summer evenings. Adjacent bathroom with a bath.
- Third Bedroom: (Upstairs) Double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower plus automatic washing machine. A sleeper coach for small children is available. A pedestal fan for those hot summer nights.
- Linen: Duvets, fitted sheets, pillows and pillow cases. A change of linen can be arranged during your stay. Please bring your own blankets, dishcloths and towels.
- Braai Facility: A braai facility with outdoor set and umbrella is available in the courtyard.
- Parking: Parking for a car and trailor behind locked gates in the courtyard of the townhouse, plus 1 additional parking space.
