302 Oyster Schelles is on the third floor of the Oyster Schelles Apartments, overlooking the Oyster Box Hotel & within 80m of the beaches & promenade in Umhlanga Rocks. This luxury apartment is fully equipped for self-catering & can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests in 2 double en-suite bedrooms.

The Living Area
The living room / dining area is open plan and beautifully appointed. Comfort is the main focus with high end, modern furniture. Leading off the lounge are sliding doors that take you onto the balcony with breathtaking sea views. Perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening sun downer.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully fitted with modern, high end appliances. There is a fridge, microwave oven, kettle, washing machine and tumble dryer and under counter oven and hob.

The Bedrooms
The apartment accommodates a maximum of 4 guests in double bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen size bed complete with a main en-suite. The second bedroom has twin beds which can be reconfigured into a King Size on request. Quality bed linen, swimming and beach towels are provided.

The apartment is in easy walking distance of the Umhlanga Village and several upmarket restaurants, bars, coffee shops and supermarkets. The facilities on offer are exceptional. There are numerous hotels in the immediate vicinity where children can enjoy ten pin bowling, game arcades and a whole lot more! For the water enthusiasts, there is deep sea fishing, dolphin viewing, scuba diving, snorkelling, surfing or just relaxing on the beaches or taking a long leisurely walk or a jog on the 5km beach Promenade. The award winning Pier is also a must see and was recently voted the “Best Pier in the World”. There are several world class golf courses in the immediate vicinity.

302 Oyster Schelles is a five minute drive from Gateway, (the largest shopping and entertainment centre in the Southern Hemisphere), twenty minute drive from Durban and the International Conference Centre (I.     Take the M41 off-ramp (Exit 181)(Umhlanga / Mount Edgecombe / Phoenix North). Turn right (over the freeway) and continue for approximately 1 km, passing Gateway Shopping Centre on your left. Take the M12 (Umhlanga Rocks Drive) off-ramp and continue north passing McDonalds and Umhlanga Hospital on your left. After passing under the Millenium Bridge take the M12 (Umhlanga Rocks Drive) off ramp and continue north passing McDonalds & Umhlanga Hospital on your left. At the next traffic circle continue down Umhlanga Rocks Drive heading towards the sea. Proceed over five sets of traffic lights.

    At the 4 way stop street (Caltex Garage on your right), cross over and keep to the right. Approximately 35m further on your, on the right hand side is the entrance to the Oyster Box Hotel and the Oyster Apartment blocks. Sign in at security and and foloow the signage to Oyster Schelles. Your parking bays are 302 A and 302 B.

    Heading South on the N2 from King Shaka International Airport
    Take the M41 off ramp (Exit 181) (Umhlanga / Mount Edgecombe / Phoenix North). At the traffic lights turn left onto the M41 and continue for about 1 km, passing Gateway Shopping Centre on your left. After passing under the Millenium Bridge take the M12 (Umhlanga Rocks Drive) off ramp and continue north passing McDonalds & Umhlanga Hospital on your left. At the next traffic circle continue down Umhlanga Rocks Drive heading towards the sea.

    Proceed over four sets of traffic lights. At the 4 way stop street (Caltex Garage on your right), cross over and keep to the right.   • Cancellation Policy
    If a confirmed booking is cancelled the monies received will only be refunded once the apartment has been re-let.
  • Arrival & Departure Times
    Check in is from 14:00 hours and before 19h00 on the day of arrival. Check-ins after 21h00 will incur a surcharge of R200.00.

    Check out is before 10:00 hours on the day of departure.
  • Terms Of Payment
    A R1500 breakage deposit is required. This deposit is refundable after departure, provided the apartment is left in good condition.
  • Rules/Conditions
    The maximum occupancy of six persons in the unit (6 persons) must not be exceeded under any circumstances. Failure to adhere to this will result in the extra people having to move out with immediate effect, or the booking will be cancelled and no refund given. This is a no smoking apartment. Smoking is only permitted on the patio. Does not accept children.
